4 The West Virginia Annual Conference was meeting in Weston, and came to Buckhannon as a body to see the school and to attend the dedicatory service held in the auditorium of the Seminary. Bishop Cyrus D. Foss was presiding at the conference, and gave the dedicatory address. (Haught, p.64)
