Elmer Guy Cutshall elected president (1923-1925), and became the youngest college president in the United States at the age of 32.
1924
President Cutshall suffered a near-fatal bout of sepsis following an accidental cut at a barbershop in Iowa, and spent several months recovering.
1925
Trustees approved the formation of Greek Letter organizations. The first was Sigma Delta Chi for men and Chi Alpha Tau for women.

- Homer E. Wark elected president (1926-1931)
- President Wark changes Chapel from every day to Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. The first two to be religious in nature, and the third a musical event. Monday and Wednesday the time was set aside for meetings or Thuses. (October 1926)

North Central Association granted Wesleyan accreditation.

Architect Carl Reger (Sem. 1897) was engaged to design an addition to Agnes Howard Hall.
