    • One of 25 American scholars invited to present papers at the Third Inter-American Congress of Philosophy in Mexico City January 11-20, 1950. Dr. Franquiz presented, “Spiritualistic Presuppositions of Charles Sanders Pierce’s Dialetics.”
    • Attended, and presented a paper at, the International Congress of Philosophy in Italy in September 1958.
    • Led a month-long Seminar in European Culture July 18-August 16, 1959
    • Presented a paper at the Sixth Inter-American Congress of Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
