Notes:
- Was heavily involved with the school for the first sixty years, and represented a great deal of institutional memory. Fortunately for all who would follow, he had a keen sense of the importance of this and recorded it in great detail.
- The students referred to him as “Our Tommy”.
- All the while he was actively involved in leadership at the college, he was likewise engaged at First Methodist Church.
- The Haught Literary Society was inspired by and named after him.
