    • Led biological study trips to Florida, the first one being December 19-30, 1938.
    • Returned to teach in 1954 when Dr. George B. Rossbach (his successor) was on leave of absence for a year.
    • Returned to the farm in Elkhart County, IN where he was raised to put his biological knowledge to good use. They grew “apples, cherries, pears,and melons for local and regional buyers” with his specialty being canteloupes.Judson, James Edward
    • (1929) Dr. Judson, head of the department of Biology and John McCusky a student in the science department, will attend the annual meeting of. the American Association for the Advancement of Science which is to be held in Des Moines, Iowa, Dec. 27 .. This meeting will be the eighty-sixth meeting of the American Society. Dr. Judson and McCusky plan to leave Buckhannon at the beginning of the Christmas recess, and they will attend the various meetings held at the convention which cover practically all the Important fields of modern scientific research.
