Education:

  • Associates Degree in Design and Drafting
  • B.A. Musical Performance from University of Southern Mississippi
  • Graduate Work  in Tuba Performance from University of South Dakota

Served:

  • Director of the Marching Band 2014-2018
  • Director of Concert Band 2014-2018

Notes:

  • Played with many groups nationwide including:
    • Bonerama (jazz/rock/funk group based out of New Orleans)
    • The Danger Seekers (Appalachian funk)
    • The Roots Crew (house band for “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”)
    • As a guest soloist at many colleges and universities.
  • Has performed in orchestras or combos with artists such as:
    • Wycliffe Gordon
    • Yo-Yo Ma
    • Placido Domingo
    • Doc Severinson
    • Joshua Bell  
  • Excited to bring back the Bobcat Marching Band after an absence of 35 years. In an interview for the Clarksburg Exponent-Telegram, Lindsey stated that, “Alumni have a proud tradition to look back on, and we have a bright future to create.”
  • When asked his thoughts about teaching at West Virginia Wesleyan, Logan replied, “I love Wesleyan because it’s home.  It’s my first home since I grew up on the Gulf Coast and I’ve lived a lot of places in between then and now.  I have connections with my students, the faculty/staff, and the Wesleyan community that can only come from when you’re not afraid to fail, try new things, and be yourself.  All things that I feel being a part of Wesleyan.”
