Obituary in The Valley Register, Middletown, MD on 1928-02-10 stated that: Rev. Page Milburn, for some years pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Middletown, and well remembered by our older residents, died at his home in Washington, D.C., on January 31, after an illness of several years, aged 71 years. Dr. Milburn retired from the active ministry in 1917, after having been a member of the Baltimore conference for 50 years. Dr. Milburn received his early experience in preaching as a “circuit rider” in Maryland, serving at many of the smaller churches in the districts. Dr. Milburn was at one time president of Kee Mar College, at Hagerstown, and was professor of library studies at West Virginia Wesleyan College. He was a frequent contributor to church periodicals and other publications, and was especially known for his work of writing a history of the Methodist Episcoal Church, South, which appears in a volume compiled under the direction of the late Bishop Hurst, under the title of “The History of Methodism.” Dr Milburn is survived by his widow, three sons and two daughters. Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon and interment was made in Rock Creek Cemetery. (Found on Findagrave)
