  • 1952 B.A. Heidelberg College
  • 1958 M.A. Northwestern University

Taught:

  • 1967-73 Assistant Professor of Speech and Dramatic Arts
  • 1973-83 Associate Professor of Speech and Dramatic Arts
  • 1983-85 Associate Professor of Speech Communication and Dramatic Arts
  • 1986-90 Professor of Speech Communication and Dramatic Arts
  • 1990-2012 Professor of Speech Communication and Dramatic Arts Emeritus

Notes:

  • 1958-63 Taught at Clay High School (Oregon, OH) 
  • 1964-65 Managed the Hall of Free Enterprise at the 1964 World’s Fair, along with his wife Sandra Presar
  • 1966-67  Taught high school in Lorain, OH
  • West Virginia Wesleyan College Teacher of the Year 1990
  • After retirement in 1990, he acted and directed in Pittsburgh, PA and Roanoke, VA until his health failed.
