With no lingering look behind us, facing forward, With the courage you have given us to dare, Alma Mater, towering high above the valley, May we ever keep your name unstained and fair. In our hearts we hold as dearest of our treasures truths from your teaching, noble and inspired, The ideals that will ever lead us onward, upward, Strength that will not fail us when it's tried. Oh, Wesleyan, favored college of the hilltops, Where daylight lingers even when the night has come, Where the vision of your great and earnest effors Inspire each loyal daughter and each son. To you we bid farewell, for we are going, Our voices echo in your halls no more. But we carry in our hearts your noblest precepts, Each member of the class of "Twenty Four." 1983 Died 1983-10-06 at her home in Marietta, OH [Emeritus Club Newsletter 1984-03, p.5] | 1983-10-06 | Marietta, OH (1980-09) | ||
