Alisa Lively (Director of Campus Life Office 1988-current)

Q: What is your major? or What degree do you hold?
A: B.A in psychology and M.A in Counseling/Higher Ed Admin

Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Work with the Upshur County Special Olympics. I am currently the director and I serve on the state board of directors as well.

Q: What do you love most about working on Campus Life Staff?
A: The amazing students leaders and staff I am fortunate to work with!!!! I love the enthusiasm and creativity that each staff member brings to the table. Such awesome programs and guidance we offer to our residents!!! Plus….it keeps me young!!! LOL

Q: What are your aspirations in life?
A: I aspire to make a difference in the live of everyone I meet, either on campus or in one of the community organizations that enjoy being a member of!!!

Q: How do you spend your summers?
A: Working! I get to work with some amazing central staff employees, and share Wesleyan with all the groups who utilize our facilities and residence halls when students are gone. I also really enjoy more relaxed time with friends and family.

Q: What is the biggest item on your bucket list? And why do you want to do it?
A: I want to visit Ireland!!! This trip has always been on my bucket list. The country and its people look so inviting and beautiful. I have visited Austria, Germany, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Mexico, so it’s time to book the ticket for Ireland now!!!!
