The McCuskey Fellowship Program is a high-impact faculty-student research fellowship provided through the generosity of John F. McCuskey, WVWC class of 1969. Students selected for the program will design and conduct a research program over three years of study at Wesleyan. Yearly, there are spots for two incoming freshmen and one rising sophomore at West Virginia Wesleyan to be a part of this incredible cohort. Benefits of the program include:

- Funding for room and board over summer and other breaks as needed
- Direct access to a faculty lead to design and implement your research study

2021 | Logan Nelson | Research - WVWC | Investigating how the planet's warming temperatures are affecting plants, soils and mycorrhial fungi. |
2021 | John Rose | Research - WVWC | Conducting research related to the current NASA Mars Mission, specifically examining possible power sources that don't depend on the sun. |
