(S.C.O.W.) was the hub of campus social life, with a snack bar, television set, bookstore, health center, and offices for campus publications. The World War II barracks building had been installed on campus behind the current site of L.L. Loar Music Hall in 1947, but was moved to a spot off of Camden Avenue in the mid-1960s once the Benedum Campus Community Center replaced it. It was razed in 1997.
